My mom wont let me have a dog so what should I do

Ask her to take a trip to the pound. If she's anything like my mom, once she sees all of the lonely animals, she will cave.

If you are living in her house, her word goes. Because a person under 18 cannot legally own a dog it is her responsibility.
I'm sure your mother has good reasons for not wanting a dog right now, dogs are a lot of work and responsibility and if you fail to take that responsibility it falls on her shoulders.
DO NOT bring home a dog you 'found' or anything like that, the dog will just end up in a shelter.
Most kids go off to college and leave the pets 'they had to have *insert a thousand exclamation marks here*' behind... maybe you're mother doesn't want to be stuck with 'your' dog.

Then I would recommend to not get a dog. Their might be some reasons behind why she isn't letting you get a dog. they are lots' of responsibility and take lots of time. If you are always busy then maybe she thinks' you wont take the time out to take care of it. or if your mom rents then maybe she isn't allowed to have dogs. you'd be surprised as to how many people don't allow pets in there rentals. Just relax and talk to your mom you might be surprised on what she will tell as to why she doesn't want you to have a dog. Good luck I hope this helps!

Wait until you are 18 and get your own dog.
My mom didn't want me to have one either, and she ended up sending 3 dogs back to the shelter when I was a kid. My dad would bring them home, and my mom would send them away. And it broke my heart every time. it's not worth it. Wait until you are on your own and have as many as you want.

get one and take it home then she will grow to it, but why do you wnat a dog they are so much work and money if that dog gets something you better wish you have 2 jobs to pay for it dogs are like kids they get sick to!
