there was this old black overweight labrador sitting under the bar, all the locals were scruffing its neck and tickling the old dog. i went to the owner behind the bar and complained pointing out the obvious lack of health and safety issues. he told me to get lost. luckily i noticed his license was 2 days out of date so i phoned the council and told them of his abject disregard for selling drink on unlicensed premises i am now in the process of getting his dog destroyed as it could have bitten me. i am thinking about claiming damages of future earnings, so what you reckon get the dog put down or claim disability because of apossible dog attack, i swear on my mothers grave that thing would have killed me given the chance.

My dog went into her first heat on May 28, 2006. The possibility of a male mating with her is almost impossible. Assuming optiminal fertilization time of 10 days and gestation of 64 days, that brings us to August 10, 2006. Her nipples are now swollen and producing a small amount of milk. She abdomen looks normal. Has anyone ever heard of a female dog producing milk and never being pregnant?

We've been there almost a week - she didn't pee for 3 days, then waited another few before she did again. She's only pooped twice - she was daily before. Yesterday we were in our old neighborhood and she peed 4 times and pooped, so it's not that she can't, she just won't. I am getting stressed about it because she's home & I don't want to come back to urine all over the house.

It's a human genetics book. I do enjoy the "Dummies" books as they truly are easy to understand and a nice touch of humor. I am just not sure if that would be confusing, though. I do have Malcolm Willis' book on genetics but thought Dummies might be a good primer.

You know who you are, but you cannot possibly know how very much your kind words meant to me. My White Dog was very special,
my husband buried him in our yard by his tree...after being thrown from a car, being in jail, [local pound] and being adopted, once he got back to my yard he never wanted to leave. Now he never will, again thank you so very much.

I just go a new puppy, she's only about 2 months old. I start school in 2 weeks and no one can take care of her, my parents are at work. Plus there are no close doggy day care places. And most of my family are allergic to dogs.

and for the last 6 months, it has been fine being home alone and not in his cage. All of a sudden for the last 2 weeks, everytime they leave the house, it acts out. It chews on things ruining things in the house. Just today, it got into her expensive fish food and ate it all. Is there a reason for it acting out? Lack of attention? or is it just lonley? And why is it just now acting this way within the last 2 weeks but it was fine before? Any suggestions? Did this happen to you?
