A majority of SPCA's and humane societies offer low or no cost neutering if you meet the income requirements or have a special case.
Generally, a neuter will cost under $100 for a 6 month old puppy

depends on the vet, clinic and what is included in the surgery price. Most vets offer optional things such as bloodwork, e-collars etc. I would call around to some vet clinics and get an idea. However, I would consider picking a vet and sticking with it. It makes it easier when your dog has a problem

It depends, because a lot of vets want to do blood work just to make sur that there is no liver damage or any oter damage to the vital organs that would interfere with the anesthesia. Contact the SPCA, and they will send you a voucher to help with the expenses.

if you go to your local humaine society, it should vary from about $45 - to maybe a hundred or so, depending what breed of dog it is and if it's overweight.
If you are looking price wise that would the answer, vets normally charge more.
