I have a Chihuaha and Jack Russel. The Chihuaha is in heat. The Jack Russel is 6 months old and started humping her. Well, he found it. Then, he got stuck inside her and we couldn't separate them. Should I let nature take it's course, or pull them apart? Yes, this is my first experience, so please be kind.

i am looking for a dog we are thing about a german shepherd my boyfriend is disabled and we have small children, we need a dog that is well behaved but one that will give and recieve lots of love and attention, it also has to be well behaved anyone know a good breed for our family, oh yeah and it has to be smart (we already have one that is not so smart lol)

I have a german shepard that goes crazy over laser pointers..he will follow it and try to catch it...so my question is if dogs can see black and white how does he see the red laser from pointer?? we even tried with a blue laser..and he done the same thing..chased it and tried to catch it.

I heard they choose the strongest-- and these were the last 3 born.. Two have died so far and I figure the other one will by tomorrow night. Why is she picking and choosing who lives and dies? I mean the 3 she is taking car of are twice the size of what the other three are.. She seperates them.. Why?

The product has warning lables all over it. do not get in eyes on skin, ect. But apparently, since it says "arm and hammer" which he associates with baking soda, he though it would be funny to lather my little shih-tsu dog up with the stuff. I needless to say, freaked out at him. and the he calls ME a lunatic. Its my f ing DOG for god's sake, who the hell sprays CHEMICALS all over a DOG?? What should I do???

I have serious allergies. My boyfriend and I want a small dog that is really friendly, wants to be with us rather than independant adgenda, and is great with kids and other dogs. Any one have an experience with a dog like this....I've done reading on "goods and bads" but want to hear from real people. Let me know. Thanks much!

ok. I just found out that my digs b day was november 14.
so shes not 5 months. Well shes been licking her u no wat.
A little to much.
So i checked. And found out she has started.
Shes in heat!
Shes like 9 or 10 months.
Is this a right age for a dog to be in heat?
Should i get her those dog diapers?
What will happen if i suddenly nueter her?
Some websites say if i nueter her right after her first deliver she can be diagnosed with cancer. what do i do?

my wife has a full pitbull a boy and my girl dog was pregnat and had 47 puppies some are pittbulls some are pitbulls/rottwilers mix and the rest are rottwilers and they are walking and barking will they get along when they are older cause I have a puppy pitbull hes all brown and his eys look very cool its like 4 colors mix up red blue green and yellow put together and he has sharp fangs he is the first born and the biggist one he likes to play and when he play with the other dogs i think they have a dog fight they bite each other but not that hard its so funny and when they are in the front yard dogs come by trying to get the dogs but the first born gets mad and starts vibrating and start barking real loud and when i pat it he growl ayt me i get very scared what should i name him they sleep with my wife and I when they go to sleep they all gather around the first born the parents gather with them and when they wake up some how they start to play and start fliping is that normal

i applied the product exactly as directed, no one touched the animals, they didn't get wet. i am frustrated because the product was not cheap! now what do i do? i don't want to use more poison on them, and i can't afford to buy MORE frontline, especially since it has only been 4 days! HELP!!!!

I have been told that you should pick out a dog that suits you adn your family but it should also be a good companion (best friend). I live in an apartment building and I can only get a small breed. I was thinking a corgi but i'm still not sure. I can also get a medium sized dog so yea. I have two cats as well so can you help me find the right breed?

My dog is having problems.. He won't use the restroom, eat, limping on one leg and I taken him to the doctor.. He said I had to put him down.. Should I keep him in the condition and hope he gets better or should I just take my dog out of its misery? I mean this dog was one of my best friends.. We been together for 5 years.. I would always tell everything to my dog... Please help..

I have a puppy here that belongs to my boyfriend's son,she eats,drinks,and is very active,her stools are regular too,she has been getting sick everytime she eats,she has done this since they got her,I've been trying different things,but she always throwing up whatever she eats,any ideas?
P.S. don't tell me to take her to the vet ,she isn't my dog!

he barks at everyone, but it's the kind of bark where he still wags his tail (only pointed down.) i think he's somewhat scared.
the only people whom he doesn't bark at is me and my baby brother.
how can i teach him to befriend everybody else in the family??
