You have no clue as to what you`re doing other than make a few bucks because it`s not to carry on what a Boxer is supposed to be. There are top breeders that have spent years studying and asking questions before their fist breed. Back yard breeders do nothing but contribute to a pure breed ending up as a mutt. Reconsider until you have enough knowledge.

If you are going to breed AKC dogs, you'll need to study their rules and regulations. Also, they have a lot of great resources for breeders on their site. Including a step-by-step method for responsible breeding. The link for the main site is above.
Check out the Boxer's National Breed Club, as well. Their link will be along the left side of the AKC's Boxer page.
Also, talk to other breeders, vets, and if you can, find a mentor. That would be someone who's been breeding Boxers for a number of years, who is willing to help you along the way.
I'll go get you the link to the step-by-step...
Edit: Here it is! http://www.akc.org/breeders/resp_breeding/index.cfm
Start at step 1!

I am glad to see you want to be educated! Supposed back yard breeders are a problem only because they are uneducated!
Here are some websites that may be helpful.
http://www.thepetcenter.com/gen/whelping.html
http://www.merckvetmanual.com/mvm/index.jsp (very good!)
http://www.canismajor.com/dog/reason10.html
http://www.royalcanin.us/dogbrdg.html
You should probably also talk to your veterinary to make sure your dog would be a good mother.
There are also many books that you can get that would be a good resource to have right at hand.
Good Luck! I have a Boxer too and she is a great dog!

sorry I dont know any good sites but will give you some pointers...
firstly you should NEVER breed a dog who isnt registered at competed well in dog shows to prove she or he is worthy of being bred - also the dog should be checked for genetic problems like hip dysplasia.. if you want to be a repuatble breeder you would do these things because otherwise years from now people who have bought your pups will be coming to you with inherrited problems you should have been aware of before breeding the dog.
talk to other breeders (of other breeds) and talk to people at dog shows - a good breeder DOES NOT make a profit... a good breeder is in it for the betterment of the breed
if your dog isnt breeding quality have her spayed - it will reduce lots of health risks for her

I agree thoroughly. i'm nice with those who had an coincidence (besides the undeniable fact that genuinely preventable), and are promoting there mixed canines at $50-100 in the journey that they get them vet checked and their images. That way they insure the canines shouldn't a lab or for bait for canines combating earrings. I do besides the undeniable fact that fall sick to my abdomen at the same time as i'm out and observe someone promoting a poo this or a cocklier, and they choose $500 and up for them. i love purebred canines also. I regularly bypass to a protect excellent this second, yet I continuously have an theory of a few purebreds i'd be alright with, and that i wait until eventually eventually i discover one. i love purebreds, because you are able to study about the canines, length, characteristics, and different issues. you in basic terms do no longer comprehend what you're growing to be with a mutt. The fashion designer mutt creators at the prompt are not interested in something yet a short dollar. i imagine they breed mutts because they do no longer might want to pay to sign up them or something then. you in basic terms might want to arise with a lovable call, and placed a huge make certain on it. those canines are placed down time-honored everywhere in the country, because maximum individuals make an impulse purchase and discover later the canines isn't something like they theory it will be, and then they dump it on the protect out of impulse and the very reality they're to lazy to artwork with their canines. it fairly is merely the way i have self belief.

contact any local clubs. YOu might not want to do it when you find out how much work it is and how expensive it is. (not a money maker). With boxers it is dangerous with the swelling of her vagina, you might have to help deliver puppies or have a vet on standby if there are any complications. Finding a stud is also difficult to match sizes.
