there is such a thing as rattlesnake vaccine nowdays, its pretty new I think. I am not sure how it works but ask your vet. I have seen plenty of dogs bitten by rattlesnakes and survived. Its wierd but dogs bitten in the face and neck did better than dogs bitten in the legs. Strange.

My cousin's dog was bit twice by a rattlesnake. Once in the nexk and once on the face. When she came home, Stella (Neopolitan Mastiff) couldn't move. She took her to the vet and they cleaned and drained her. She was shot up with a bunch of drugs. My cousin paid a ridiculous amount of money. poor stella.

no, my dog has never been bit by a rattlesname i think. while he stays outside so i'm not sure. but he's a tiger shark pitbull and he is pretty tough. so if he was about to be bitten he would defend himself. he's gotten in a fight with my cousins dog. he beat him up really good.

No, we have garden snakes in our yard, but not rattle snakes. Do you live in the country?
