My dog has a microchip and you were supposed to send all your information to a company that your vet. gave you. If someone finds your pet, the shelter or a vet will know to scan the dog, if it has its tag that shows it has a microchip. My dog's tag is yellow. They will find you and call you. All you can do it call all the vet's in town and let them know your dog is missing. Post pictures everywhere. Give a reward. That will help tremendously. Go out everyday and look and call for the dog. Put a notice in the newspaper and pray alot. I hope you find your dog......

If your dog has a microchip in them, and they have been found and scanned, as long as you have kept your info up-to-date you should be contacted.

The 2 largest chip manufacturers both have
websites...Avid....and Home Again.
But you would have to have registered your
dog with them when the chip was implanted
for them to know how to find you. If you have the serial number of the chip, maybe they could still help you.

you should go to your animal shelter if your dog has a microchip, they will be able to find it.
