she is a beutiful puppy i purhased for 400.00 i did not know that the puppy was deaf till i had got her home i want to sell her for 200.00 but i dont want the wrong type of people to get her

as soon as you walk away from him he starts is there anything you can do to help stop the barking i live next door to him and it is really annoying plus i have 2 dogs myself a lab and an akita and when that dog barks mine do plzzzzzzzzz help

On the TOronto news tonight there was an elderly man whose best friend was stolen! The neighbors said that they never saw this man without his dog and hardly with any other people. He tied his dog up to get his morning coffee and came out and his dog (trouble) was gone.
The neighbors are getting together and putting up signs and a helping him pay a reward to get his dog back.
I thought that was so nice to see the news run a story about that when there is so many other things going on in big city like toronto.
THey had a heartbreaking camera shot of the man sitting at the bench where he left his dog,... could you imagine!
who would do such a thing!! It makes me sick!

I have tried so many different dog foods and have fed all different amounts. I never feed more than 2 cups. 1 cup makes no difference, 1/2 daily makes no difference and only half starves the poor thing. Exercise does not work either.

On 7/19/06 I posted a question, asking how could I cheer my mother up, after her dog, a little Chihuahua went missing. I just want everybody to know, my mothers dog was returned safely to her, we put it in the paper and it turned out that a neighbor had her. My mother is so happy and it's the first time, in seven days that iv'e seen her beautiful smile. My mothers dog went missing 7 days, to the day. God is wonderful, we prayed and her dog, came back in seven days, in the Bible, the number 7 stands for completion. Thank you all that responded to my post, for your kind words of comfort. The dogs at the SPCA with it get put down immediately , once we find out that they have it. I know it is often masked by kennel cough. My neighboors new dog just got it so I decided I should educate myself about it. I know a lot about the other diseases and viruses such as parvo and kennel cough(bordetella) but not about distemper, besides that there is a shot for it that can make your dog immune.

My dog is 14.He doesnt do a whole lot.I know he can and he is being lazy.Do you have any ideas to peark him up.We do walk him but it doesnt take care of the rest of the day.Toys dont excite him anymore.

I have 2 4/12 month old rottweilers, me and the dogs got home from obdience class and i decided to take them on a walk. Today i decided to go to a diffrent route, to walk, the one a i usally take is a bit short. So today i was walking the boys, when we saw a stray pit mix up ahead. The stray was like 11 feet away and started barking at me and my dogs, my dogs instantly went into kill mode. I was at the time off leash walking them, so i put them in sit and put on there leash but when i was putting on the first leash the stray dog started to run towards us, instead of trying to out run that dog in which i know we couldnt, cause that dog was to close, instead of putting the leash on the dog, i told my dogs " get him" i use this command when i'm messing around with my dad and i tell the dogs to tackle him, but in this situation my dogs started running forward to the stray both my dogs biting it in the face while the stray bit my doh in the chest. I called my 2 my pups and the stray ran.

This is so gross.....My toddler pooped on the floor (in the midst of potty training), I ran to get something to clean it up, not even thinking of the dog, when I got back the poo was gone...the dog ate it! Will this hurt my dog????

I own a miniture american eskimo puppy who is 2 years old and he has a problem-he wont stop scratching at his ears. I know it's normal for dogs to scratch at their ears a couple times but he scratched at his so much that he has open cuts on the tip of the inside of his ears. He even has a tiny cut on the tip of his nose! What should I do to help him?

MY LABRADOR JUMPS THE FENCE, BITES ME, AND JUMPS ON MOSTLY EVERYONE. THERE ARE NO PET SUPPLY STORES OR VETS IN MY TOWN. THE CLOSEST IS AN HOUR AWAY. I USE WALMART FOR MY PET NEEDS.

PLZ HELP ME MAKE MY DOG STOP JUMPING ON ME , JUMPING THE FENCE, AND BITING ME.

HE ALSO HAS SHARP NAILS. THE VET COMES TO TOWN EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE FOR VACCINES ONLY.

Whenever we give the dog (shes a golden retriever) a rawhide, chewy, anything of that nature, she'll pick it up, usually whine or whimper, and then try to give it back or put it in a corner. Has anyone ever experienced a dog whimpering b/c of a chew toy?
We ruled out the possibility of an aching tooth, the vet said her teeth are fine and she loves chewing ice all the time.
