On the TOronto news tonight there was an elderly man whose best friend was stolen! The neighbors said that they never saw this man without his dog and hardly with any other people. He tied his dog up to get his morning coffee and came out and his dog (trouble) was gone.
The neighbors are getting together and putting up signs and a helping him pay a reward to get his dog back.
I thought that was so nice to see the news run a story about that when there is so many other things going on in big city like toronto.
THey had a heartbreaking camera shot of the man sitting at the bench where he left his dog,... could you imagine!
who would do such a thing!! It makes me sick!

Yes seeing and hearing of these tragic things want to make you cry. I also feel sorry for the dog too as he needs his master. People can be so cruel that steal and it will come back at them...Putting up a reward money just shows you that there still is good people out there that cares. I just hope the two of them get reunited real soon. and i hope they put the culprit in jail. I had a dog prayer that i was going to print but when i find it I`ll print it I promise. God bless the old man and his faithful friend that they can be found again.

Oh my goodness that is so sad! Are they sure that it was stolen and the dog did not run a way? You said that he was gone just while he was getting a cup of coffee. Maybe he wasn't tied tight and decided to take an adventure? I hope either way that the dog comes back to the elder gentleman sooner then later. If someone did steal him I hope they get a conscious and return him to it's rightful owner.

some people are sick. i truly hope the dog is ok. you see some horrid horrid news about peoples beloved pets being killed in the most undignifying of ways.
herd the story of when a family went away on holiday and left there rabbit to be looked after by neighbours? they went to feed it one day and insted the sickos put it into he microwave.. worst of all .. they left it there for the family to return to..
or the dalmation the was hung in the park? whilst was being recorded on the guys mobiles?
trust me.. i know loads more.. just dont think you wil want to know them... iv herd some pretty sick stuff. i work with animals.
its very very upsetting. poor man.
these people are sick.. the man misses his dog.. and no doubt.. the dog misses his man too.

Thats sad and despising. Its an amazing thing that someone could be so cruel I mean an elderly man who has practicly only one true friend. I hate the person who stole the dog Id want to kill the guy who stole the dog but you know the dog maybe could have gotten lost you really never know. But that really mkes me want to cry.
