Dog licks because its the only way to express itself with people their own breed . He does it in the morning and as a greeting .

Dogs lick for a lot of reasons. Licking is a submissive social signal, first of all, allowing dogs to show deference to dominant "pack members."

Licking may be a sign of affection, your dog's way of showing you that he's enjoying spending time cuddled on the couch with you. Or, he may just like the taste of your soap!

The licking of the face is an intriguing gesture, coming directly from the instinct of the wolf. When the mother wolf has returned from the hunt, her pups will lick her face to stimulate the mother to regurgitate food for them. Little do most dog owners know that when their dog gives them a kiss on their return home, it is actually asking them to regurgitate some food!"

Dogs lick because it's their way of kissing you and saying hello and affection. Also if you have food. And if they feel the need to help someone and they don't know how, the lick them, to show affection.

Dongs are curious about the world and things they see. since they don't have hands, they like to feel the texture of things they see. but they really only do it with other living beings. they really don't go around liking everything. Dogs will even lick cats. they are curious about other species.

Mostly to express affection but sometimes they smell food on your hands and go crazy with their licking, even between the fingers.

it is a greeting, like saying hello, or shaking someones hand. It is a sign of affection, and also a way to make you smell like them, marking you.
