I found one in my dogs ear, I think its just another kind of tick and its not different then the black tick. But I did take him to the vet and he is fine and doing great. So just take your dog to the vet.

Search american dog tick. They have white markings on their back. They are very common.

Its normal it just means that they are full of blood and are about to fall off. I know this for certain, its probably a normal deer tick.
