My fiance and I work different shifts. I work nights and he works days. We would like to have a great watch dog that can be inside. Playful yet protective. But at the same time not a dog that visitors would be terrified of. Any ideas?

Over a period of time they have urinated on furniture, carpet and and tile floors. Does anyone have a solution to rid the odor other than getting rid of my pets?

My beagle is 2 yrs old and he eats wellness super 5 mix chicken flavor food. It is a high quality food that has fresh fruits and veggies, along with actual chicken (no by-products) as its main ingredients. It has no artificial preservatives either. My dog has been eating it for about a year. He has been checked for parasites, infections etc through both stool samples and blood, so he is otherwise healthy.

I want something funny, but not insulting. It has to be positive. So far, I like Bones, Canada, Golly, and Mumbles.A name of a food would be good. Or something that supports , like a Buttress.Any ideas?

It looks like "walking dandruff" rather than mange, We trimmed her coat to keep her cool, she is coming into her first heat if that is relevant, and she totally is in and out of her own wading pool all day. We can't afford another bill right now,or would take her to the vet.

My golden retriever, I guess shook his head too hard, and broke a vein in the floppy part of his ear. The "flop" has filled with blood and it is about an inch thick. This is the second time. Last time the vet drained it, put a little drain in the ear flop and viola, healed. Well that cost me $600. Someone told me I shoulda just left it alone and it would heal and the blood would be absorbed by his body. Is that true? Or is it another trip to the vet for us?????
