Should I be worried about this breed? She is around 8 months old and I am worried as I have heard that this breed is like the Pittbull and can be dangerous! I don't have kids but I have them around me and I don't trust her around them yet. I have had her for 5 weeks as the person who had her could not cope with her and they were told she was a Staffie X. She is very playful and loves cuddles, should I consider getting rid of her?

Any suggestions or websites that can offer me breed info would be great, I have been on molosser.com but can not find any others with a wider range of information on this breed..... Please help!

We are about to bring home a little baby Dachshund and are wondering if we should litter train him or always take him outside. We would like to litter train him, but are worried about what will happen when we take him to another house for the day and we need to take him outdoors. Can you do both or will this confuse the dog?

My puppy is on science diet and has been for the last 2 months. Prior to that she was on some other grocery brand . currently i give her science diet dry food with the new pedigree naturals for puppy tinned food. I have not noticed an improvement when we changed her to science diet. Her personality is the same, and even now she gets runny poo depite not being fed any "human food". should i change her diet completely to the new pedigree naturals? (ie. pedigree naturals dry+ pedigree tnaturals tinned).
What is your take on the new pedigree natural line anyways?
i don't want to waste my money on science diet, if it's much the same as the pedigree line.

We took my Bull Terrier to the breeder nearly two weeks ago to have her studded.. She's been acting normal and excited just as before, but she's had terrible diarrhea.. The breeder used a bit of his food when my dog's ran out.. I know that can cause diarrhea but she's been on Science Diet Sensitive Stomach since she's been home and its not gotten better. Last night she rubbed her butt on the carpet, but there's no worms in her stool.. I suspected tapeworms, but she's never had fleas at our house and I'm not sure how quickly she would show symptoms of tapeworms if she caught them from the breeder's kennel.. But she didn't come home with any fleas. Also, around the inside of her anus is black stuff.. Its not feces, but its also not alive. Is it possible that its the feces of any worms she may have? Thanks

I have noticed that breeders and customers usually consider the largest puppy in a litter to be the "pick" puppy. Why is that?

Also I have noticed that with working breeds, usually the largest dogs win in the show ring. I don't know much about correct confirmation of working breeds, but I can usually pick out the winner before the judges announce it. All I look for is the biggest dog with the biggest head. And usually I am right.

I have a St. Bernard from the SPCA. She is sweet, gentle, house broken, and won't even harm my cat. They found her underfed playing in a cow farm. Even if someone lost her, don't you think you would search for her and at least check the SPCA?

Not to mention that after one visit to my mother's house, a few months later we went back and she ran right to the front door, so I don't believe she would have gotten lost easily.
