Look up a rescue organizations for poms. There is practically one in every state and they have little ones as well as older adults. Just be ready to have your vacuum clean and lint rollers handy because they have a lot of hair. They have a top coat and undercoat as well and when they shed the fur flies, literally.
I take my little five year old "terrorist", Renfield, everywhere. He's such a little sh**, and he looks like he's always laughing. But he's such a sweetie and is very smart. Too smart for his own good, I hope you have as much luck with your new addition as I have had with mine. They're awesome!

go to petfinder.com...this is a resource for rescue groups, and you can get puppies or young, or middle aged or senior dogs, anything you want..just put in your zip code, and be amazed at all the choices you will have.. i got a great dog- a Great Pyrenees mix--just what i wanted from a local rescue group--by the way..you are doing a blessing by rescuing a dog..try it- you'll like it !! good luck to you !!
