Breathe through your mouth while you're cleaning him up. My husband and mother-in-law always gagged, but I was completely unaffected. When you're a mom yourself you'll have "poop immunity" too. I'm was blessed with this with my son. Your brother will be potty trained before long, like my son. Don't pressure the kid about it though, or he can start withholding his bowel movements, which can lead to constipation--not good. (This can actually lead to a trip to the doctor for some kids.) Just clean him in a matter-of-fact manner. During potty training there will be accidents. Just use the same calm manner. Never punish for accidents. Good luck!

If he's on the potty wipe his bottom and flush. If he is not potty trained change him and clean him up. throw away the diaper if he is still in one. If he is in training pants dump the mess in the toilet flush and clean him up with a warm rag or diaper wipes then put a new pair of pants on him or put a new diaper on him.

Make sure your parents teach you what you need to do before they leave you with him alone.

If you're only going to be alone with him for a short time (a half hour or less), then you don't need to worry about it.

help him in the bathroom, assuming he is potty trained. Help him with this clothes, praise him for the using the toilet, and YES... help him wipe his bottom, and help him get his clothes back on,. Remind him to wash his hands....

If he is not trained, change his diaper.
