I just looked up the site that shows exactly the color spectrum that a dog can see, I was surprised.
They can see several colors.Dogs are red-green color blind. They see a brighter and less detailed world when compared to humans. Peripheral vision is better than humans (dogs see more of the world), but distance is not judged quite as well. Dogs excel at night vision and the detection of moving objects.
Dogs are better able to detect movement.

Figure 1 is a rough guesstimate of what a dog and human might see when viewing a color band (the electromagnetic spectrum).
Figure 2 show the field of view of a human and a dog. Due to the placement of the eyes, humans have an overlap of the field of each eye of 140; in dogs, it is about 100.

Dogs can see mostly grays but can see some colors such as reds, some blues, and purples. They can't see oranges, yellows, bright red and most bright colors. I don't know if they can see greens and stuff like that.

dogs see the same as a color blind person sees. They can see many more shades of grey than we can

just dark shades of color and mostly shades of grey and black. They do not see like humans and are not blind. hope i helped.
