im taking care of a friends pets fora couple weeks and the dog is acting tired and lazy, and her nose is kinda dry.
she wont eat her regular food only snacks we give her lie left over chicken

Tonight my dog has a seizure and to my knowledge, she has never had one before. Anyone have this happen and how often is it a solitary incident? I know she wasn't into anything poisonous that could have caused it. Does anyone have knowledge or opinions or experience on this?

And I did call the vet and told her everything I could before anyone assumes anything. I would never post a question about something serious that time would matter on and I know the majority of the answers are not vets...just pet lovers.

I would just like to start out by saying thank you to everyone that helped me with my little guy. Unfortunately he passed away this evening. I am very very upset. I worked with him day and night. I had such hopes for him. I thought he was going to be my little miracle. I think being that he was caught in the birth canal so long, he had numerous health issues. I never want to go thru something like this again. It is way too upsetting. I have been crying all night long. All I kept saying to him is how sorry I was and how selfish I feel for bringing him into this world. We buried him next to a special tree we have out in our back yard. Anyway, I just thought I would let everyone know who tried to help me and my little one.

I have a very lovely basset hound, who is cute and adorable and sweet - most of the time. Sometimes she randomly snaps at me and has left a few scars on my hands. She shows no reason for doing it, and at times before hand, she has often greeted me in a welcoming way. Is there something wrong with her, or is there some training that needs to be done so I don't have to put her down?

Our dog is a barker, she barks at everything, My Mother brought us a shock collar that she used on our dogs mother.

I was wanting to know how is the best way to use it?

For thoses who have used it was it succesful or not?
