My 6 year old beagle/terrier mix isn't acting normal. It all started last night when my dog was laying on my bed. She was rolling around being restless. She's normally a dog that likes to be outside, and today shes been laying around all day. She is fixed also. Last night when I let her outside, she just laid there by the door on the patio, when normally she runs out and starts barking at everything. PLEASE HELP ME! I don't want her to die!

My dog Lola watches the TV I mean she really watches it and if any show comes on with animals she goes nuts. She starts barking and whining and she runs out into the garden because she thinks that the animals on the TV are in the garden. Does anybody else's dog do this?

Of these three options..

1). Punch it in the face.
2). Stomp on it's back.
3). Get it in a choke hold.

=)

By pure chance & my inquisitive mind, I came upon an adult (2-3 yrs.) female Golden Retriever on the Net. She was a stray & is in an animal shelter app. 50 miles from me. I saw her picture & I now cannot get her out of my head! I'm too passionate, why do I worry about this dog? Anyway, I have a female Golden I got exactly the same way, I've had her for about 5 1/2 years. Now, if (IF) I decide on getting another dog, what's the best way from your experience of "bringing them together"? Thanks.

We currently have two dogs and need to let one go because he causes allergies for my wife. He is a lhasa Apso. We refuse to give him to a pound because he is a beautiful dog and we don't want him to be euthanized (killed). We have to make a decision soon and are looking for ideas to find him a good home...We have heard something about a rescue shelter for dogs where they do not euthanize the dogs they actually keep them until they find a good home, but we have not been able to find any information or what it would be called. Any suggestions that can be offered would be great and if it helps we are located in Miami, FL. Thanks in advance for the advice

My dog woke up this morning with diarrhea and there was some blood in it. I can't take him to the vet until tomorrow, but I'm worried. He seems fine, happy and energetic, but I'm not sure what could be wrong. Does anyone have any idea what could have caused this?

I plan on crate training my puppy, but instead of a crate I will use a confined room with 'potty pads' - because I will be away at work for too long to crate train a young puppy. I work 7am-12pm, home for one hour lunch, then back to work until 4pm.

Anyway once the dog is older and has no accidents at all, should I then let him have the run of the house when I'm away or would it be best to stick with his confined room? Basically what I'm asking is, should crate training/confined area be temporary just for puppies, or a long term thing?

I have two beautiful Bichons, they are my babies. They sleep with me...I sleep in the nude. While I'm undressing they stare at me.

do you think they know I'm naked? What's going through their mind?

*Please don't get gross ideas. They sleep at one end of the bed and I sleep on the other.

Thanks :0)
