i have the exact same problem but ask him to check creatanine levels too it looks the same as poison fro antifreeze but it is kidney disease or beginning of failure mine got alot better with antibiotics he acts 5 yrs younger now and starting to get the color back in his pee ,i know exactly what you aRE going through it sucks , but dont give up on him yet if he is a strong dog he can make it normal creatinine levels are 0.5-1 my dog had a 7.0 level and the vet said normally at 5.0 or higher they dont live but my old dog is still here 2 months later and acts alot happier,i would almost rather it be kidney disease because if i find out someone did that to my dog ,i cant even tell you what i would do

Awwww, poor little doggy. I don't know. That antifreeze poisoning is real iffy. The dog either makes it or not. I've heard that a lot depends on the individual dog, and how long the anti-freeze was in his system, ie: how much damage it was able to do. I would rely on whatever the vet says and not get your hopes up too much. Spend as much time with your little guy as you can. I hope all goes well...good luck.
