The average lifespan is 8-12 years according to the American Bulldog website.
Since this is just an average, there are just as many living a lot longer lives, as well as those living a lot shorter lives.
Nutrition, heredity, housing, food, exercise and vet care all play a part in enabling a dog to live a long, healthy life.

10 to 15 years, as long as you take good care of it. Also, keep in mind that as a pitt bull owner you should take extra care in making him a good pet. Socialize him well, make sure he plays appropriate games so he does not become aggresive and please, don't add to the unpopularit of the breed. It takes a strong confident person to own a pit bull, because we face so much prejudice about the breed. Just make sure you have a well mannered healthy dog and you'll be fine. Make sure he has plenty of chew toys and excersize and you'll have a life long friend

If you give your dog a good clean living; house, food & water, vet care, heartworm & worm medication, and yearly shots with alot of love your dog should live to be 12-15 years. Aiso be carefull if you breed your dog that there is no troubles during the time she is carring the pups.

from 12-15 years. they will live the longest, in the best of health, if you feed them a premium kibble, such as Canidae, Innova, Solid gold, Wysong, Wellness, etc.
