The age old question: are you a dog or cat person?

Question

Explain why and if you have dogs or cats, give their breeds and names. This is just for fun people!

I have two dogs:
-Boxer/Bulldog mix named Bubba
-Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Gryphon

Both are my babies!!

well I do love my 5 dogs!
so I guess that I'm a dog person but I love any animal or creature on this sweet planet!

While I have had both dogs and cats (currently I have just cats now as my dogs are both in Heaven, died from old age), I'd have to say that I'm more of a cat person. Cats are more able to take care of themselves with relatively little or no care. My cats are indoor cats, both still having their claws, (as I don't believe in declawing an animal which is their own natural protection should they ever get out of the house or are in danger of some sort). I just make sure that they have plenty of water, plenty of food left out, and a clean litter box. I don't have to worry about rushing home to walk them or to feed them. When you put down a bowl of food down for a dog, they will eat the entire thing right away and then need to go outside. A cat, however, will take it's time and not eat everything in one setting. My cats have dry cat food out all day for them while I'm gone, so they can eat and drink whenever they want to and can relieve themselves in their litter box. When I do come home, I'll give them their wet food. Again, they don't eat it all in one setting.

My cats (2 of them) are named: Mystery (completely black cat) and Goblin (also a completely black cat). Please also notice that Goblin is my screen name, too!

I'd have to say I'm both. I always wanted a dog but our mom wouldn't let us get another after watching our puppy get hit by a car when we were young. we always had cats. so as soon as i moved out i got a dog..but then i missed having a cat around so we got a kitten too. Right now I have a 5 month old lab/boxer puppy....3 cats, 4 kittens and more kittens on the way lol. I love having kittens around but we can't keep them

I'm more of a dog person, b/c I never had cats, dogs are more out-going & playful then cats. I don't know much about cats.

I'm a dog and cat person! I have three dogs... a chocolate lab named Dodge, a Newfoundland named Dudley, and an English Mastiff named Duke. I also have four cats...all domestic two long haired and two short haired all named after Star Trek characters...Work, Neelix, B'Lana and Hoshi. I love them all!!

I am totally a dog person. I have 3 dogs.
Gabby- a 2 year old golden retriever
Polka- a 5 year old dalmation
Baltimore- a 16 year old bichon

I'm defiantly a dog person, and i am the alpha, have had dogs all my life, the first dog i had was an English cocker, champion brown sugar of grandmas kennel.next was capercelly, yellow Labrador retriever, then cocain, pure white Labrador greyhound cross. now kiss and kai lab greyhound and Diana the huntress rottweiler border collie. why? cats dont like me hehe.

I have to say that I am both (I hope that's an acceptable answer). I have one dog - a collie/shepherd mix named Charlie, and two cats - a domestic medium hair calico named Hope, and a domestic short hair tiger-stripe named Kanga.
