mating i have a male and female pug and female pug acts like the male pug trying to hump the male pug and my male pug doesnt want to mate with female. when is the best time to mate? is it when she startes getting her menstrual cycle?

My apartment neighbours have two dogs on a ground-floor "balcony area". The area is floored with wood decking, with gaps between the planks. The dogs don't live out there, but they "go" out there and the owners come out and clean up with disinfectant. Now that it's summer, it smells like a public toilet from all our overlooking balconies.

How do I tactfully talk to them? I hope they plan to move to a house, and if they put some lino down it would save the wood maybe. They duck back inside if I pass by smiling & waving - I love dogs and like dog lovers, & don't want to scare them or have the committee approach them formally. How can I break the ice? I've thought of offering some cans of dogfood, pretending I won them in a raffle. Enough people hate the dogs that I don't want to give that impression. Is there a nice way of saying your apartment stinks but I can live with it? I am afraid that they will have them put down if we object.

ok my boyfriends step dad has a pitbull dog/ boxer he is not a bad dog but today he started barking at me a couple of times so we put him in the cage but im affraid that he will bark at me when im home alone but what im most scared of is him barking at me and then bite me. well this is my question when dog's bark at you those it mean that they are going to bite or what are they going to do.

I have a red and she is much bigger than the blues. I don't know if the pups would have which color or if they can be bred at all and still be purebreds.

i took my dogs to the park and there was this pit bull who off its leash it saw me and started to run to me and my dogs the pit jumped and bit my shirt and i moved back and the leash of my dog ( falco, really agressive twords other dogs ) when the pit landed the my rott started to bark the pit bit my dog the pit was BIG TO my rott is only 3 months but when the pit bit my dog OH MAN MY DOG THRU IT AROUND LIKE A RAGDOLL ! hahahaahhahaha my dog bit it under the neck and the dog ran away, the owner of the dog called me a stupid little punk a.ss kid. one of the neighbor called the cops and her dog was taken away :]. well my dogs are being held at a shelter for like 2 days. ****** i need a new shirt :[

I'm concerning getting a white boxer, and I believe someone told me something to the affect that breeder are not to make a profit on these animal. I quess white boxers are not to be breed.

I have had coco about a month and half-coco's first owner was going to take coco to dog pound-I heard about this and let it be known I would take him.The man said he couldn't take care of him any more, I thought I was in heaven this little guy has been a blessing to me, but I have gotten in trouble letting bills go to get coco in half good health which the man I got coco from said he was ok except needing hair trim.This little guy has bad bad teeth,has a heart murmer-I can't touch his mouth without him crying out,they are loose and green-I don't have the heart to take him to be put to sleep.There has to be an ace in the hole.

My pup was eating eukanuba lamb and rice, puppy food, then one day I made the mistake of letting him try some table scraps! What did I do that for? Now he refuses to eat the dog food and wants to eat table food! He will go all day if I let him, without eating the dogfood! help!
