I love all dog breeds! but if i had to choose my favorite it would be Afghan Hound because it has that long pretty hair or maybe a mixed breed so i can get two or more in one. lol

well i have owned several types of dogs and have loved them all. I have owned a rottweiler, a german shepherd, an american bulldog, a mastiff, a schipperke, a samoyed, and several shepherd mix, a chow/lab mix. I believe most of a dogs personality has to do with their raising. I make sure they have lots of love, playtime, good food, water, and a safe place to sleep/go when they want to be alone (I use a crate)

Boston Terriers and German Shepard's, both of these breeds are great family dogs and very good with children.

my favorite is pit bulls. i have had pit bull s for the last twenty years. the only trouble that i have ever had is that they were more protective to my kids. they are loyal, loving, and protective. they are smart, fun to play with, and they have a bad rep because some people cant be responcible. punish the owner not the breed.

I adore West Highland White Terriers. My 2 are great, I have a male, 7yrs., and a female,10mos.
Good with children, friendly, small, good watchdogs. About 12" high, but BIG on personalty.

I like scruffy-looking terrier types, the scruffier the better. My dog Ringo is a terrier mix & looks like a 40# Irish Wolfhound.
