I have a red and she is much bigger than the blues. I don't know if the pups would have which color or if they can be bred at all and still be purebreds.

Ummm... I THINK this breed is what is known as an australian cattle dog in the US with "blue" and "red' simply being the color phases. IN THE US the two colors can be bred togher with imputy and reslt in dogs considered purebred. HOWEVER since you are using a name not common in the US, Quensland Heeler, I wonder if you are in fact from a different county and there are examples of two varities of the same breed in one country considered two breed. in another. In fact the fox terrier in the US was (not long ago) considered to come in two varities - smooth & wirehaied which could be crossed & considered pure, but is now considered two breeds which cannot.

yes, but they won't be full pure breeds. That's kind of the bad thing...
