My dog is 14 years old, I've grown up with him, and I feel like my heart is breaking..I know it has to be done but I just feel so incredibly awful about having to do it, even if it is the right thing. He can barely walk, can't get up without help, has accidents constantly, and his eyes are just so sad. He falls when we get him up to go out, which I'm sure hurts him...So I know I have to do this. I called a vet nearby that comes to your house to do it, which is what I want...I want him to be in his home, we're waiting to see when she's coming. I guess my question is, am I a horrible person for doing this? I don't want him to feel like I'm just tired of dealing with him...I know he's a dog, and doesn't think like that, but I can't help feeling that way. And what's it like when they do it? What exactly do they do..Just give him the shot? Does it hurt at all?

I got him 4 days ago and let him walk next to me without a leash. Now I put him on a leash, but he tugs and struggles. If I keep the leash hold firm and don't move, he starts choking and coughing. I have to follow him wherever he wants to go. Any suggestions?

If you are too cheep to buy and advertisement... then I dont want any pup of yours!

Chances are your pups/dog are not properly taken care of and you are way too irresponsible to be breeding!

I live with my parents and my dad is talking about gettting a dog. We have 2 cats- one is almost 14 and the other one is 7 years old. Dad's cat passed away in February of this year and he's been talking about getting a dog ever since. Dad talks about getting a Lab or a border collie, but I don't think either one of those dog breeds would be the most compatible with our 2 cats. Mom's 7 year old cat is very territorial of the back porch and attacks any animal that comes on or near it and my 14 year old cat runs whenever an animal comes in the house. Mom's alllergic to dog hair, so we can't have a longhaired breed dog. What kind of dog gets along well with cats, because Dad's starting to get serious about getting a dog?

My corgi is about 7 months and he is a devil. Im upset because i cant really have fun with him because everytime i let him out of his pen he goes and chews up something of mine. He's not alowed upstairs because he likes peeing on the carpeting and all of my upstairs is carpet but down stairs is tile, he's not allowed to go in the kitchen because if im making food i dont want to trip over him, he's not allowed in the laundry room because thats where my cats stuff is so he eats all of my cats food and takes his poop out of his cat litter, he's not allowed on the couch because he chews it up and digs all over it and pees on it, he is not allowed outside because one time he chewed through the the covering of and electrical pipe and was chewing on the pipe and almost killed himself if i hadnt cought him, I just put him outside for time out and he gets mad so he chews up my plants and and pool pipe. I let him out of his cage and he tries to go upstairs, then in the kitchen then in the lndry!

I was wondering what breed of dog is best for playing catch with a frisbee? I'd want them to be trainable too so I wouldn't have to chase them around the park if there was another dog or something happened, etc.
