A LABRADOODLE IS MIX OF A LABRADOR AND A POODLE. YOU CAN'T BE ALLERGIC TO THEM AND THEY DON'T SHED AT ALL. THEY ARE ALSO VERY SMART. I KNOW ALL THIS BECAUSE I OWN ONE. HOPE THIS AWNSERED YOUR QUESTION.

Curly coated dogs like Poodles, Bichons, Portuguese Water Dogs, etc. do not "shed" like other dogs. Hairless dogs like the Chinese Crested do not shed very much expect for the tail and head.
Also, the poodle hybrids...like the labradoodle appear to have the "shedless" fur as well.
Regardless of shedding, they still need grooming and still may present an allergy problem if you are allergic to dogs.

Any dog that has "hair," not fur. They are also considered "hypoallergenic." This means if someone is allergic to dog dander, these breeds usually don't affect them as much as dogs with fur because they don't produce as much dander.
By the way, one of my dogs is a cockapoo (cocker spaniel, poodle mix) and she doesn't shed, though she has to get her hair done more than I do. Because they don't shed, you have to take dogs that don't shed to a proffesional dog groomer 1-2 a month.

Poodles of all sizes do not shed and are hypoallergenic. So are these breeds:
- Wheaten Terriers
- second generation Labradoodles (a Labradoodle bred to a Labradoodle.)
- Westies (West Highland White Terrier)
- Bichon Frise
- Kerry Blue Terrier
- Coton de Tulear
- Schnauzers (all sizes)

Yes. My shih tzu puppy does not shed at all. They only require a brief washing about twice a month and two short haircuts a year. I suggest once in the early spring and once in midsummer.

As someone else said, Shih Tzus do not shed. However, I have mine get a haircut every 2-3 months.

The Mexican Hairless Dog - also known as a Teleizeuintli or Xoloitzcuintli. They are called Xolos for short. They resemble the Pharaohs dogs.

Yes there is an ugly little dog that is fur less.... for the most part. They have a little on the top, feet, and tail. By little I mean very hideously ugly little amount.

There are hairless dogs (but they're pretty ugly). Best bet is a small dog, like a chihuahua, that has smooth hair.
