My pets can sense if there is something supernatural in the house. Our previous house was haunted by something we could'nt see but always had a feeling when something was'nt right. And our pet Labrador would always start growling and barking and stand infront of me as if to protect me but i won't see anything there.

this is old fashioned thinking. THEY say that because dogs don't operate on the same level of conciousness as we do, they don't have souls, but I was reading an interesting book about this recently, and a bunch of scientists did loads of experiments to see whether canines were concious beings. They proved that dogs can sort problems logically, feel emotion etc. So they are concious just in a different way. But does that mean they have a soul? well we don't even know if we have a soul.
I believe all animals have souls. Which is why nature should be respected. As to seeing spirits, I used to see them when I was younger and so did our dog, but no-one else could. I think this is just a sixth sense. Everyone has it if they open up to it!

I'm not sure why people say they have no soul. My family and i went to see a physic for the first time. The physic told me my boyfriends sisters house was the place the souls crossed over about a month or two later i was at his sisters babysitting with him i experienced a presence of a spirit in the room with us for about an hour it was breathing on me i was very cold i was scared at first as it moved around the room then actually sat next to my boyfrind on the couch he could feel it touching his arm, i know for sure there is souls and life after death. You may not belive me i was sceptical ....

Dogs, like a lot of mammals rely a lot on body language and movement to communicate. This is especially prevelant in dogs as they are pack animals. What seems to be happening here is that your dog is picking up on you mood, you may not notice it but your body language will show that you are anxious to the dog and he will react accordingly. Also, for humans the abilty to react to a sight is remarkably slow compared to dogs and you have a very weak sense of smell compared to poochie. It may be that he heard or smelt something and acted accordingly. You as pack leader will have the opportunity either to calm him or get him agitated. When you tense because you think there is a ghost he will react.
In short. Dogs don't see ghosts

the real answer is your dog has mental problems
I suggest that you take him to a dogctor[dog doctor] right away
he needs to let out those feelings
keeping things bottled up inside isnt right
Maybe it was that household he lives in...yep...uhhhu..let me just ask you some things:

Do you abuse your dog?
How does that make you feel?
Why do you still watch the Teletubbies?
Have you always thought diapers where in style?
Why do you still wet the bed?
How long have you thought Moddana was hot?
Do you want to parade around naked?
How does that make you feel?
How much chocalate does the easter bunny give you?
Are you mad at Santa for not giving you that toy dump truck?
Are you still having naughty thoughts about boys?
Did you ever kiss a boy?

uhhhu.....yes that is all
I have reached this conclusion:
You are mentally ill and need help fast
Good day to your sir and it was a pleasure meeting you!

Some people insist that humans are the only ones with souls because we're supposedly "intelligent". I think it's bull crap. Animals have souls too. There's no way a dog would cross the US to find its lost master just as dumb luck.

Because people don't like to think of death. Some people think that when you die, that's it... no more anything. Only our bodies die, not our souls. I have worked with abandoned & abused animals for over 30 years, I can guarantee you all animlas have souls. They have feelings, emotions, and the very definately feel pain. How can animlas not have souls? They have something very few of us so called inteligent humans have---unconditional love.

Wish I could really answer that. Quite an arrogant statement for humans to make. It's very presumptuous. Why wouldn't animals have souls...they too are made of the same concoction of electrical energy as humans.

I don't know about them sensing spirits (outside of fiction), but I do believe all animals have souls. I'm sure most people who have dogs or other pets wouldn't disagree.

I think animals do have souls and are actually smarter than we think they actually are, with the exception of some. Besides whats to say the dogs aren't saying we don't have souls.
