my cat is about 6 months old and i just adopted him this saturday. when we first braught him home he was nice and very calm and wanted to be adventurous around the house. (we also have a 100 lb yellow lab in the house, My cat doesn't like him very much ..hehe..i feel bad for my dog.) anyways, sunday he was a little rougher and wanted to bite everyone and scratch them. today i let him explore the basement. he was jumping on things and running from me. i've tried spraying him with water but i have a feeling this behavior is just making my kittens behavior worse. I'm not sure what to do about this, and i really need anwsers on how to take care of this problem!!
please help!

My cat is in major heat. We just got her and she isn't spayed yet. She tore my carpet up by my sliding door and pushed the door open and got out. I found out that she got with our neighbor (unfixed) cat one too many times. Not a big deal for me, I will deal with the consequences, so please dont say "get her fixed". Thats obvious , however she is still moaning and groaning and trying to get outside. She is driving me NUTS. I will get her fixed ASAP, but Im not sure if she got pregnant. If she got pregnant two days ago, would she still be in major heat like this?

I have tried everything possible to get him to sharpen his claws somewhere other than the couch. I am considering having him declawed. At his age is this a wise idea?

Out on a walk today, a cat approached fiance and me - she literally followed us home! She is very affectioniate, has no collar, his big pink nipples and big belly. She has been camped out on our front doorstep all day.

I've been looking around the internet and I think she may be pregnant. I am going to take her to the vet and/or search around and see if she already has a family tomorrow.

Until then, what can I do? I already gave her some food and water.

I've feed an adorable stray cat, Mo Mo, for almost four years. It stays outside around my house about 18 hours a day. I plan to move a mile north of the neighborhood into a new home and want to bring him with me. However, I am afraid of the following: people in the new neighborhood may abuse him, construction workers may hurt him, and if he gets confused, I am afraid he may cross a busy road and get hurt. I love the cat and don't want to abandon him. In fact, for the past couple of nights, I've returned back to my old house just to feed him. I am not sure it would be healthy to move him from one environment to another. Does anyone have advice or experience with this type of situation?

He's been throwing up clear bile lately and sleeping more often than ever. He seems very lethargic and gets very irritaded. He never used to be like this. My other cat was lethargic and vomited clear bile a few months before he died. Whats going on here?

He is about 10 months old and most of the time he uses his litter box, but sometimes he surprises us by doing it on our bed, carpet, etc.

My cat has a wound on the side of his face, we believe it's an allergy to fleas, and he keeps scratching it. So bad that it's becoming an open wound. The vet is way to expensive, so I want to know if I can do anything at home, before I have to take him to the vet.

So would using peroxide on him be ok?

Where does the tabby breed for cats originate from? My boyfriend seems to think it's Germany. And I know the name "tabby" is derived from Baghdad. So, where are the cats from?

Does anyone have a cat who drinks water from a touchless water faucet? My cat does not like the pet fountains. I've tried and she just ignores them. She also won't drink from her water bowl. ONLY the bathroom faucet so we have to keep turning it on for her. Just wondering if the touchless water faucets have been used with success for this type of cat.

I found a store that price matches any price, including online ones for frontline products. So if you know of a real cheap online place to get Frontline Top Spot for Cats, I would appreciate it.
