K... eeewwww for letting a "loose" bowel movement dry in your carpet. To get it out, take a damp cloth and remove as much of it as you can WITHOUT rubbing it into the carpet anymore then it is. Then get any type of carpet cleaner and follow the directions from there(they sell special carpet cleaner at the pet store that will take it out as well as cover up the smell. Once you spray it on your carpet, there is a certain odor that the cat can't stand will not be likely to go in the same spot again). DO NOT USE YOUR VACUUM TO CLEAN THIS MESS UP UNLESS YOU WANT THE REST OF YOUR HOUSE TO SMELL LIKE CAT FECES!!!!

Scrape it off as much as you can and spray with some Woolite for pet stains and odor remover. Let stand a while, and use a brush to scrub the area. Just keep putting some clean warm water on the area, and hopefully the stain will come out.You could try other stain removers too, making sure it is safe to use on your carpet, without taking out the color. Good Luck.

hire a carpet cleaner, or spray it with a stain remover .
cover the spot with a paper towel and wait for the stain remover to set in. 30 minutes.
scrub at the stain, adding more stain remover where necesary.
if it all doesnt come out , hire carpet cleaner or call a friend who has a pet to help
