I had to move in with my family temporarily and my 6 month old kitten did too. She only likes me and displays aggression towards other when they try to pet her. My older brother is beginning to punish her and pin her down to torture her by rubbing her fur the wrong way, throwing her in a full bath-tub...etc. He wont listen to me when I tell him to knock it off and no one seems to care. He is offended at her behavior towards him and is acting out against her. What can I do?????

Ok...My fiance and I moved in together 4 months ago and shortly after we got a kitten... Turns out he's allergic. I'm a cat lover and have had one all my life but, he says the itchy eyes and stuffy nose are too much to deal with and he wants me to get rid of the cat. He refuses to medicate prior to coming home and has psoriasis so I'm not sure if shots will help. I know of a place where she can go and will be well taken care of but, as this is the man I am supposed to spend to the rest of my life with and I likley will never be able to have a cat like I've always wanted, should I make him happy and rehome the cat or should I keep my cat and find a new husband?

Please help!!!!

I've looked everywhere for a breeder but they are all either too far away or have no avaiable kittens. I read a cat care book that advised me not to ship a cat so anywhere far from MD, Dc, or VA is out of the question. Need help!

I gave him a deworming pill (mixed w/peanut butter). Now he is sluggish, and has shortness of breath, and is breathing very fast. Could the peanut butter have harmed him? He has never acted this way, so I'm scared. It's 1:22 a.m and can't go to vet. Could the worms be hurting him or eating away at him? I gave him a lil Pedialite for nutrients. He is responsive to his name, and still licking, just breathing quickly and sluggish. Please help!!

Is there any way to make your cat more comfortable with giving them a bath? And, I understand too have the water lukewarm, but...any approximate temperature? Thanks.

I love cats, they are so cuddly and cute.
But I don't love how they keep meowing and screeching in the middle of the night. They are stray cats that are meowing and screeching during the wee hours of the night. I can't sleep with them.

I have a 2 year old cat that is using the downstairs floor as a toilet. He has not always done this. He only recently started this. I keep 2 litter boxes (one for him and one for the other cat) in the laundry room in the basement. He uses the litter box to pee and the floor to deficate.
He has lived with the other cat for a year and a half and has never known another home, so he has not been traumatized in any way.
I live alone so it is very hard for me to regularly discipline him.
Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
Thanks.

About two months ago I took in a stray cat. He sleeps in my apartment every night, eats here, and even uses the litter box that I bought for him. However, he still likes to go outside during the day. I'm going out of town for four days for Christmas and don't know if I should leave him inside or outside.

Ok, so I have 2 cats, one is a 1 year old fixed female and the other is a 7 month old female not fixed yet. We just rescued a 5 year old male fixed declawed sweet boy. My older female is just keeping her distance but my young girl is taunting him and growling and hissing. She is being very mean and I don't know how to make them be friends. The two females are best buddies. What do I do??
