We are looking for an apartment and no one will rent to us because we have a kitten (I think that is evil, but anyway) so now we are faced with the question of getting rid of our pet. My husband really loves the cat and says we keep looking for a place that will welcome him. We have three weeks left to find a place. What would you do?

I have 3 indoor cats. The oldest is about 9 and is very large. I feed them a purina indoor formula, and fill all three dishes as per the directions. Problem is, the fat one just gets fatter...I know he is eating some of the other cats' food, too. In fact, if his dish is empty, he'll even eat my dog's food. Any suggestions? I don't want him to be unhealth - especially with his age.

I may be moving to the other side of the country next year.
How do I fly with my 2 cats?
I heard that some flights let you carry them on?!?!
How does this work and tell me how I should go about doing this.
What Kind of equipment/carrier should I get?
Do I put a litter box in the carrier?
Thanks!

Our little monster, Libby (aka booger), is quite the drama queen when it comes to trimming her claws, and her claws grow pretty fast. Any tips on how to chill the cat out before trimming her claws? She's about a year and a half old, is there anything we can do to train her so that this isn't a problem as she gets older too?

Mother cats carry their kittens around by the extra skin on their neck, and we do it when they're being bad...is there an age limit on scruffing cats?

People who don't own cats don't believe me, but I swear my cat can say "Hello", "No", "Yeah", "Wow" and "Out"....
My friends who have cats believe me, and say their cats talk too!
I'm not crazy....am I?

They are generally well-trained and well-behaved. They will come when called and sit on command, and there have been no litter-box problems. We tried putting aluminum foil on the counter, but they just play with it and knock it off. We have tried shooting them with a water pistol when they get on the counter, but lately this does not discourage them: they will hunker down and get wet rather than get off the counter. They seem to really want to go up there.
