My two year old cat has been going on my apartment rooftop, along with some other building cats, and going potty. My neighbor whose apartment is under their favorite area is none to fond of this activity. Any suggestions to curtail this behavoir????? Its a two story building.

I have a fewideas:
1) Accept the behavior and put a litter box up there (but then someone has to clean it occasionally)
2) Get some "Pet No." It's a product you spray on areas where you don't want the animal to go (but then you'll have to respray after it rains
3) Put a cat-eating dog on the roof!

Get the cat a litter box maybe it will help other than that you should catch the cat in the act tap its paw and say no boy , does that work!

Throw her off the roof and see if she really does have nine lives.Do you have cat litter for her? Our cat prefers to go in her cat litter box. If that doesn't work try cat 'Depends'. The other cats will laugh at her and she will get the message.

iv never heard of that before!, there is this stuff that you can get that the cats dont like, people use it to keep cats away from their gardens, i think it cones in little crystals or jelly, i hope that helps.

Why is he outside? Once that smell is up there, nothing is going to make him stop going in the same place. Keep him inside where it's safe and where he doesn't piss anyone off...literally.

I'm amazed your neighbor hasn't poisoned your cat.

keep him/her inside!!! DUH!!
why did you even let it outside anyway/ don't you know that cats live longer healthier lives strictly indoors? you should keep her inside, especially while living in an apartment complex!! Dang!!
