ya my cat purr loudly. he is lazy but i wont say he is fat or chubby. thanks you guys for the great info.

Its not bad, my cat does the same thing when he's happy. My vet said it was totally normal as long as he is not constantly drooling.

That's just a Very Happy Cat. Some cats drool when they are very happy. I'd guess he also purrs loudly the whole time, too.

Cats commonly drool when they are content and happy. I read an article somewhere saying that it is the response learned as a kitten in anticipation for milk from the mother which is why it is frequently accompanied by kneeding.

Some cats drool when they are really happy and being extra affectionate. Not all cats do it. It's not bad, you just have to tolerate it and realize this cat is crazy about you.

Our male drools during what he deems particularly pleasing petting sessions. It CAN be good, but it can also be a sign of a dental infection. So if it's happening all the time, get him checked out. But if it's just during times when he seems content, it's nothing to worry about.

my last cat I had did that so I don't think it is necessarily bad but you can talk to your vet on the phone to double check

your cat is doing what he did when he was a baby and nurising he looks to you as his mom that is so sweet

my boy cat does that when he is relaxed, happy, or purring for a long time... so i think it's good!
