ok my cat was born deaf as well as his sibling cat ( he's pure white) he also has a deformed back foot and two different color eyes.. the vet said he was completely healthy but he also told me that he will be really hard to keep from destroying my furniture, carpet and other things.. Also since he can;t hear me he won;t learn not to do those things. My vet won;t declaw him because of his deformed paw. Can you guys think of anything that i can do to get him to learn and not claw up everything. hitting him with a paper and spray him works for about 2 minutes. he;s 2 years old.

my cat is 2 years old and he learned to open up my kitchen drawers and he pulls plastic bags out of them and sleeps in them. once he wakes up he normally shreds them but on occasion he walks out into the living room with a bag attached to him. the handles are around his neck. now he seems to really love it but should i get a child lock and put it on the drawers to keep him from getting the bags?

Mine is the Manx breed, because of the amazing Manx mix cat which I used to have. She was very smart, and semi dog like - she even fetched and came when called. At her own catly pace, but she did come in from outside when I called her, and followed me around outside, even sitting outside the neighbors' door when I went to visit. A very sweet and sassy cat.

I have had my cat (my baby) for almost 7 years. And she has always liked to lick plastic bags- like the ones from the grocery store. I still can't figure out if she does it when she's nervous or wants attention or what (being a cat, her reason for doing it probably changes). She likes to lick people too, but other than that its just the plastic bags. Has anyone else ever seen this? Or have any ideas why she does it? Just wondering . . .

is it okay to fasten my little tabby to the clothes line with clothes pins or should she go in the dryer on no heat and a sheet of fabric softener?

My 4 month old kitten has just started teething and she has loss her appetite for food. All she eats is dry foods even though her favourite is wet and sometimes she doesn't even eat that much dry foods. I'm worried that she's not eating enough food.

We've sprayed the spot several times with "Urine Gone", and it still STINKS! I can't stand it. It's left a visible stain, and the whole room just reeks. Any suggestions are welcome. (You know, aside from get rid of the cat...I've already contemplated and discarded that idea. I like him too much.)

My kitty was injured a week ago in an accident, and is mostly healed except he keeps picking at this scab between his eyes (where the top of his nose is). I'm keeping him indoors right now. What can I do to stop it so he heals?

He has never done anything to this kitty, but she still seems terrified of him and bites and scratches him every time he picks her up. I'd think she'd run from our 3 year old that likes to drag her around, but nope it's just my husband. Any ideas why or suggestions to fix this?

We got two Kittens about 3wks ago. one is older than the other. When we brought them home, the older one was sneezing. Now the younger one is and they both are now sneezing. Do I have to take them into a vet to get over this or will it pass. What can I do to help them get over it? They're fine and have a lot of energy. They don't look sick. Just keep sneezing.

I just got a 6mth old cat. Everytime she goes to the bathroom and is finished doing her business she paws outside the box to cover her business even though theres no litter outside the box. In the end the poop ends up being uncovered. What are some things i can do to get her to cover her business in the litter and stop pawing at nothing outside the box?
