My cat is about two and has never chewed her food. She swallows her food whole? Is that just quarky or should I be concerned?

My cat is my baby. We got her over a year ago at the local shelter, and she was not a kitten, but not yet fully grown. She was always so sweet and loving, and still is most of the time. However, she has always had issues with attacking my feet while I sleep, usually around 5 AM. It has turned into her holding my legs and feet with her claws and biting me if I barely move. This hurts! What can I do to stop this? We have no way of locking her out of the room, but even when we did, she would cry all night because up until 5 AM, she will sleep very sweetly next to me. What is up with her?

Also, since er got a dog, she has been biting my fiance and I alot more. It used to be only when she played, but now we can pet her and she will bite us, almost like she thinks its a nice thing to do.

I have tried telling her no and putting her down, she just gets right back up. I have tried lightly spanking her, but it never works and later read it usually doesn't.

"I'm F-ing Betty Davis" she meows. She threw bourbon at the dog and told him he was fired and then propositioned the hamster for sex. What the hell do we do?

i have a male cat that has always been an indoor cat....he often will bring up dirty socks from the basement and drop it at my feet..since he cannot go outside and kill mice and bring them to me; i'm guessing this is his version of that...have any of you had a cat that has done something similar to this??or is my cat just really weird??

i had been contemplating having two kittens declawed - i even called the vet and asked about it - when i was first told that "they" like to discourage it. so i did some looking around and found out exactly what is involved in declawing. it took me 10 minutes of research and 2 seconds of thought to decide i didn't even want to think about having it done anymore... but i'm interested...

1 - did the vet ever explain to you what declawing was, exactly? it seems to me that would be the best way to discourage someone rather than say they don't recommend it.

2 - what kind of changes did you notice in your cat?

3 - did you ever regret having it done, or would you do it again?

He keeps telling me 'No'.He says they potty on the floor, I tell him yes, but only until they start using the litterbox.I even told him he would never see it cause right when I see it, I will clean it up. Then he goes on to say, cats shed. I tell him not if I buy a cat brush and brush it everyday. Then he goes on to say, they smell. I say to him, not if you change the litterbox often. And I dont know how it would get fleas being it wont be going outside.Any ideas on how I can get him to lighten up...P.S.He scared me by saying that if one ever jumped on the table, he would kill it....Yea, tell me about it. I dont know why I'm with him either saying something like that.We havent been together long, just 4 months.

Im so worried. Today I noticed after tasting his pee and smelling it that it ws not normal. I love my cat and worry so much that something is wrong . Hes everything I have. My pets are my LIFE

Should I just put him to sleep because all next week its half price to put him down and I want to make a decision fast before the vet raises the price again. Thanks.

I am a proud Cat lover and there is nothing like a cat for a pet.

I have a baby kitten that has an infected eye ((were guessing that because it has yelloe/green pus and its eye is shut)) I couldnt go to the vet earlier and now i can but its 8:22 there are some emergency vets that are open 24 hours a day. So is this that much of an emergency that we need to take the baby into an emergency vet?!?
Please i need answers soon and Thank you

My kitty likes to wake me up by "kissing" me, that is rubbing his nose against mine. Anyone else have a cat that does that?

Is there electrolytes in any foods like chicken broth, and if so what foods, or what should I ask for from the vet. Today he ate and drank water good but barely peed. Need all the advice you can give, thanks.

I have a 23-yr. old Siamese who had a slight problem with hairballs. I tried a Purina blend and she seemed to get better. The next time I needed dry cat food I bought MeowMix Hairball Control Forumula because I had a coupon. Now the hairball problem is worse than ever. This morning she hacked all over an off-white brocade piece of furniture. I went to the store and bought the Purina blend again. Why did this particular brand cause such a dramatic increase where it had been mild before? Has anyone else had this problem? I'm so angry I could spit up hairballs!

Ugh!! I think I have roaches in my house. Are there any roach sprays or anything else that I can use to get rid of them that WON'T hurt my cats? I need something non-toxic to cats.
