what you need to do is change the door to a wooden one. It would be a lot of expensive specialist hassle to put a cat flap in a glass door. OR remove the glas panel, and replace it with plywood then you can bore holes in it to your hearts content.

Hardly seems worth it for a cat though?

Is the lower panel actally glass - or is it only glazed at the top? If the bottom is not glazed then you can DIY! It is only polystyrene between two layers of plastic!

if the bottom part of the door is plastic then use a good joiner who will be able to cut a hole simply and fit the flap, if glass then you need to re think your plan
