I have a gray tiger tabby cat and she is about 8 or 9 years old. We put her on a diet food because she was very very fat. It seems to have worked now, and she looks like she is back to normal size. But now it seems like she never touches her food, and now she throws up all the time all over the house. Even when she is relaxing on out black velvet chair, she threw up. We dont know what is going on. She has been eating things off the floor and things left on the table. She acts pretty much the same as she always has, but she just keeps throwing up. Whats the problem?

My mother's cat grooms all the time and subsequently spits up large hairballs. The problem right now is that he is trying to spit up,but not much is coming up.He recieves cat lax 3-4 times a week and is eating, drinking, and using his box.Any ideas as to anything else mom could do to promote the removal of the hairball? Thank you very much.

I am considering to let my grandparents see my new cat, the problem is there are so many animals in their farm including horses, dogs, rodents, birds, frogs, lizards, rabbits, and fish. Before my grandparents can start training them into getting used to my cat, which of these animals can I have my cat around w/ an easy aquaintance?

Who else is aware of this? What can we do to stop it? What can be done to overcome these furry feline facists?

(If you already like cats then that's just the brainwashing talking)

Recently my cats have begun pooping on my carpeted basement floor. They are 7 years old and I have never had a problem with them not using thier litter box until I moved. Are they smelling animals that may have lived in the house previously?

We have a litter box that is 24" long and 16" wide. After our 13 week old kitten deficates, he then starts to scratch the sides and top ledge of the litter box asnd not the litter to cover it up. If the litter box is next to a wall, he starts to scratch the wall. any reason why? He has no health problems and uses the litter box each time.

We took our cat to the vet because he was urinating on the floor and there was blood in his urine. She said it was from "crystals" and told us he had to have a certain type of food now. She suggested Hills Perscription Diet c/d (what they carried). This 4 pound bag cost $12!! Are there other LESS EXPENSIVE brands?

And if anyone else's cat has had the same problem and "solution" (he has already been given antibiotics), how long did you continue this diet for?
