Imbilical cord attached and its eyes were still shut. And you raised it for almost a year and then suddenly your life changes and you have to move. You take you cat and then one night it dissapears. no one knows where its at. its been about a year since i lost her and i feel so bad inside i loved her like a baby. How do I get over it. I don't think it's possible. I heard if the pets really connected to you that it'd find you where-ever you are if it were to get lost. And she didn't like any-one but me i don't understand . she was fixed. and she would't let no-one but me hold her. And if she got ranned over i would've found her i mean i looked everywhere!

I noticed when he was cleaning that one of his toes didn't bend so I was a bit worried as he has other problems too. He has hardly any teeth (8 out at vets 4mths ago and last fang loose!) and he has a flea allergy too. I am taking him to the vet on Thursday but I wanted to know if there's anything I can do at home for him.

If you look at a cat's eye from the side, you can see the pupil and iris aren't right on the surface of the eye, but are covered by a rounded layer. Is that layer solid or liquid, and evolutionarily, what is it for?

Does anyone know what would be causing this? My mom took care of her for the 2 weeks after the surgery and said she was walking lightly on them but not limping. I looked at her paw and there is no swellig or redness. Should I get this checked out or wait a few days to see if it gets better? has anyone else had this kind of experience?

They are both 14 years old -- from the same litter.

All their lives they have occasionally urinated outside the litter box. In the past few years, it is getting worse.

They have ruined carpet and bedding. I know I will have to replace these, but I am waiting until the cats are gone so that they don't ruin the new ones too.

I tried to put plastic down in the places they tend to go, but still cleaning up after them is a daily chore.

I have to keep them restricted from roaming the house, so that I will know where their messes are. Despite daily cleaning, that part of the house is gross. Also I hardly ever see them or interact with them, because they are isolated.

They are fairly healthy - have some conditions that require daily medication but are stable.

I have loved these cats, and don't want to get to the point where I really hate them. I want the last memories of them to be good. They aren't part of my life any more, but I don't want to kill them either.

They're experts at it. Does it come naturally or do they learn it?

my hamster lost almost all his fur from cedar chips and once I changed to pine chips he was fine. My kitty litter contains cedar chips and last night I had to take my 25 pound tom cat with nerv related problems to the emergency vet. Could the cedar chips be the cause?

We gave her de-worming meds from the vet a week ago. You can't tell with a stool sample; only by whether or not you see any exiting! I can't stare at her behind all day, so how can I be sure?
