Cats and dogs make great pets, You need to choose which you like better. both takes alot of work . Do some research on both and see which animal you think will give you the most joy. Dogs you can take for walks. Cats you really can't unless they follow you like mine do. Both will give unconditional love.

I have both. If you're a busy person, then I would say a cat because they are very bright and can fend for themselves if they have to. But I'm a major dog lover too. Dogs are so loyal, some breeds are extremely intelligent, and they can travel with you, but very dependent. Just BE SURE and get them neutered or spayed, because if you decide you can't handle a pet any more, it will not be able to procreate! Pet owners should be responsible people!

Dogs, dogs are smarter, and more loyal than cats are. Dogs are loyal, kind, sweet, nice and loving. Smart. All I have to say is I like dogs personlay better. Other people disagree sometimes with my choices but I really think dogs are lots better than cats. No offense to cats.

We like cats better (though we like some dogs too). Cats clean themselves, don't need to be walked, learn very young to use the litter box, can be left alone without trashing the place, and kill mice and some bugs.

cats. At this very moment the stupid dogs in this house are barking because they hear some kids outside playing with my nephew. Cats don't make a lot of noise.

(1)Dogs have saved/can save more peoples' lives than cats...
(2)Dogs can help humans in more ways than cats...due to their strength & size...
(3)Dogs make better protectors & gaurds than cats...
(4)Dogs are easier to train...
(5)Cats are not obedient--they do what they please without a care for the hand that feeds them....
Big cats(of the wild)would only eat it's master once the food runs out...and will terrorize everything in its path untill shot down.

cats rule and dogs drool !!!!!! It depends on what you want from a pet. Dogs are great, they are loyal and love their owners.They will do almost anything to please their owners. If you go anywhere they will gladly go with you.
Cats are wonderful, they are clean, lovable, and just fun to watch. Unlike dogs, they don't have any instincts to turn back flips to impress their owners, in fact they are the owners and you should be the one doing the impressing as far as they are concerned.
