Congratulations! I would suggest naming the kitty after something that's personally interesting to you. I have a thing for pirates, and I also have a thing for rum, so I named my cat Morgan - after Captain Morgan. Maybe a character from a favorite book, movie, or video game would be appropriate for you.

and heres a few i liked-
European Tradition: If a cat jumps over the coffin at a burial, the corpse will become a vampire (unless the cat is captured and killed.)
"kinda wierd-and sad but still funny-do you belive it?"
Tigers have stripped skin, not just stripped fur.
Felix the cat is the first cartoon character to be made into a balloon for a parade.
A cat has four rows of whiskers.
A cat falling from twenty floors has a better chance of surving than a cat falling from the seventh. It takes eight floors for a cat to realize what is occuring, relax and correct itself. (Where, pray tell, was this experiment conducted?)
If you are considering making music from a dead feline, forget it. Catgut comes from sheep, hogs, and horses.
Your cat would not be alone if buried in the back yard. 60% of owners bury their pets in the back yard.
If you need rain talk to your cat. Mythologically, cats are believed to have great influence on the weather.
When in Asia or England black cats are considered lucky. Let them cross your path.
If your cat is shedding it might be your TV. Electric light or TV emissions can make your cat shed.
The heaviest cat ever recoreded was 46 pounds.
lol-srry im kinda getting off subject but i hope you like-good luck again!
