Wow, 3 wks old is pretty young - is it still with it's mother? I'd take him to the vet regarding the infection as it might impair his sight long term. Are you sure it's not just eye-crusties like people get? Have you tried wiping his eyes with a warm damp cloth, and have you seen both of his eyes open before? Some kittens are slower in opening their eyes than others, so he may not be ready to do so yet. This is going to sound pretty gross, but after wiping his eyes with the warm damp cloth, smell it - if the cruddies don't really smell, it's probably not an infection, but if it stinks, you'll need a vet. If it's not with its mother, I hope you are bottle feeding him as he will not be able to eat solid food for at least another month or so. Good luck! I hope things work out for your and your new baby kitten!

Take him too a vet and maybe he isn`t getting the right nutrition because he sounds too young to have been taken from his mother. but again take him to a vet

Call your vet now. It's contagious. Happens at shelters sometimes. No matter what, call the vet.

i tried the cool rag element. it type of feels to be going away yet idk if it really is merely from going away evidently or no longer. my cat merely had kittens a week in the past and her rash seems PAINFUL.
