Imbilical cord attached and its eyes were still shut. And you raised it for almost a year and then suddenly your life changes and you have to move. You take you cat and then one night it dissapears. no one knows where its at. its been about a year since i lost her and i feel so bad inside i loved her like a baby. How do I get over it. I don't think it's possible. I heard if the pets really connected to you that it'd find you where-ever you are if it were to get lost. And she didn't like any-one but me i don't understand . she was fixed. and she would't let no-one but me hold her. And if she got ranned over i would've found her i mean i looked everywhere!

Hi, Greeneyes,
I'm sorry you lost your little kitty. I know how you feel. I have had the same experience with a Tom-cat. He lived with us for several years, and then for about three years we did not see him. Then one day, he just showed up. He looked like he had been taken care of. He stayed around for a few more years and then he died. I often wonder where he'd been, but that he came home and spent his last few years with us was nice. If you want, get another cat, not one that necessarily looks like your cat, but a new one. Not to replace your cat, because we all know, no two cats are alike! And no pet can really be replaced. But, it will ease your pain. Sometimes, pets don't like change, and cats are the worst about change. They like their space like they like it!
You might see it your kitty showed up back at your old place. It has happened before you know!

I love cats and have many, most of which since the day they were born. Unfortunately cats just wonder off sometimes. It could be that it tried to find it’s way back “home”…to where it grew up. On the other hand someone may have found it and adopted it…or it may have been taken to a shelter. This is why I recommend that you always get a tag for your pet, even if it never goes out doors. All of my indoor cats have tags because you can never be too careful.

I realize you’re in pain but it may help if you go adopt another cat. There are plenty of loving animals out there who need a loving home and may be able to fill that hole in your heart. And now is the time. This is the time of year when kittens are being weaned from their mothers, so you can have the opportunity to raise and train it..

Animals don't always return to their owners if they get lost. If you didn't find her, she may have found a new, loving family to live with. Cats form attachments to their human caretakers, but those attachments are not always permanent. You should probably just think that someone found her when she got lost and took care of her, and now she is in a nice home where she is loved. Understanding that should help you get over it. Maybe you can adopt a nice pet from an animal shelter and remember her by giving another animal the gift of a happy home. You will soon find that loving a new pet will be quite easy; you won't be betraying your kitty by taking in a needy animal. You'll be honoring her, no matter where she is.

Oh no, don't beat yourself up about it. If you want to find out where she is and what she is doing, I have a great Animal Communicator that can contact her and tell you what she's doing and you can even send a message and talk to her.

I am the same with my precious pussy cats and I am able to talk to those who have passed just as well as those still alive (here in my home or in another state) - and I can tell you right now what your little cat is likely to say. She was not comfortable in the new environment so she tried to find her way back home. When she got lost someone found her and took her in. My guess is that she is worried about you and hopes you are not angry with her.

Peace!

Often if you move, cats will leave and find their way back to where you used to live. It's really impossible to say what happened to her though, there's a lot of possibilities. All you can do is hope she found a good home somewhere else. And get another kitty. True cat people always find something missing if they don't have a cat around.

maybe she met a boy cat and fell in love, and they both went to the country to raise a family of there own, its a possibility, there is a lot of field mice out there. You should adopt another pet and give that pet a chance at a loving home like yours. Good Luck!

It's ok. It hurts but it's ok. I think letting go is the hardest thing in life but it's a good lesson. It's ok to be sad. Just don't let yourself get to sad. I hope you find your cat, I really do.

someone probably found her. someone who adored her almost as much as you. just think to yourself that she is in a good home, and has adapted well. it's been a year? have you thought about getting another?
