when he does something good..pet him and call him by his name...when he's bad...squirt him with a water gun and again call him by his name...he will soon get it.

He's being a normal baby. Can you say "zippy". He's going to be a little tasmanian devil for a while -- he hasn't even hit adolescence / teenager phase yet.
You can't really TRAIN a cat -- you have to convince him he wants to do it. And for the most part, plan on being trained BY the cat. Basically, the best way to get a well-bahaved cat is to spoil it rotten. Sounds strange, but true. Cats have major attitudes, and when you spoil them, that makes them want to please you.
You're going to have to have a lot of patience, and do a lot of reprimanding and repetition. Consistency is the key. You will repeat yourself endlessly, but it will pay off in the end.
One thing to be aware of -- be careful what you let the little one eat. People food isn't necessarily the best for him -- nutrition wise he needs a premium food like Hill Science Diet or something in that range. He can have fruit and chicken (de-boned!!!!) if he wants, but you have to be VERY careful of how it's cooked. Many, many things have ONION in them that you might not be aware of, and onion can be toxic to cats -- so always be sure there is no onion, onion juice, onion powder, etc. in anything your kitties eat.
Good luck.

He's a kitten. He just has to get older and he will change. This is when they are most fun so enjoy it. Just don't let him get into the habbit of thinking it's ok to bite. When he bites instead of pulling away push your hand into his mouth. He won't like that and will eventually get the picture. Also feed the cat kitten food. Something good like Iams. People food can be bad for him. And in case you didn't know chocolate is poison to them and dogs.

Do not give him human food at all. It'll take time but after a while he'll not even care when you eat. Cats need a well balanced diet or they start shedding. I agree neuter him he'll calm down

neuter him. That will calm him down immensely!!! Other than that, put him in a kennel at night with HIS food and a little litter box. Sooner or later he will realize.

well, just say no, and lift him away from what you dont want him to do, saying no is key, or make a sound that you will every time he does something bad, he will get the hint.
