My cat is pregnant for the 2nd time. I found her right before her first litter was born and had every intention of getting her fixed after she stopped nursing her first litter but before I could she was pregnant again. Does getting her fixed interfere with her nursing or will I be able to get her fixed right after her next litter without concern for her kittens. No lectures just real answers please.

Male calico cats are rare and orange tabby female cats are too, why?

We've followed all of the proper procedures (i.e. keeping them apart for a few days, letting them get used to each other's smell, supervising their encounters and letting the encounters get more prolonged as the days went by, etc.). The first few times the older kitten hissed a lot. Now, he doesn't hiss or growl, but he just chases the little one, traps him into a corner, pins him down, and bites his neck or stomach. The little one doesn't seem *that* upset--he only cried a few times, and we separated them, but I'm still concerned he'll get hurt. Is this normal? What, if anything, can we do differently? How do we know when they are "ready" to be alone together?

I've never owned a kitty until now, a 2 month old kitten, so I don't know....

1) Whenever I call his name, he comes. I thought only dogs did this?

2) Whenever I rub his belly, he wraps his paws around my arm and starts biting me.

3) Whenever he's sitting on my lap, he'll start licking my belly while purring loudly.

4) Whenever I'm eating, he'll sit at my feet and beg for some.

5) He'll jump my Chihuahua and they have a play fight. I thought dogs and cats didnt get along.

6) He doesn't drink water. The water level of the bowl never changes. But he pees a lot. Could it be just from the canned moist foods?

7) He stalks bugs then catches em with his paws, then tries to eat them.

Hey everyone,

I have a cat, about 2 years old, and he's a home cat, he never goes outside, we don't let him, so the problem is that since he is constantly begging to go outside, we bought a collar for him, the ones that have a tie around his body and his neck, and it's a perfect size, but when we actually put it on, he dosen't even move, he just sits there or eat grass

what can i do?
