Try a repellant or if you happen to catch them in the act, throw a bucket of water on them. It doesn't hurt the cat and next time it sees you coming, it will go home.

I hope you have some grass in your yard. Our old neighbor thought it would be cool to rip out all his grass and cover the front yard with mulch. As a result, he created the largest litter box in the neighborhood. Stray cats come from blocks away just to use it. LOL

What is Shake-Away cat repellent? It is a powerful granular deterrent that takes advantage of the strongest motivator in the animal kingdom… inborn, instinctive FEAR.

This natural repellent uses the essence of LARGER animal urine to keep cats away. It does not smell bad, and works fairly well, but you have to remember to re-apply on a regular basis. Since animals mark their territory, and the neighbor cats think your yard is their territory, you have to make them think something bigger has moved in and taken over the yard.

Good luck!
You can also buy this now at Orchard Supply Hardware if there is one in your area. Possibly at Home Depot or Lowes as well.

All i can propose is which you be greater observant of the cats activities or block the cat door. We tried the cat door component and started looking gopher heads interior the kitchen. The cat door became bumped off as we talk. no longer a great deal here as there is somebody interior the residing house 24/7 and the cats would be permit in in the event that they perch on the front room window sill.

Talk to your neighbors about their cats. They might be able to keep the cats out of your yard. You can also make a wall/fence around your yard to keep them out.

my jerk of a neighbor has 200 cats, none of which have probably even seen a litter pan. try placing litter in an out of the way spot on the area they are pooping...then move it farther away from your yard till they are no longer pooing on your yard.
easy alternative....do what i do....Let the dogs out to chase them away!
