My cats don't like some medicines sometimes and can actually smell the medicine I think and won't even eat their favorite food if there is anything "foreign" in it. One of our cats has a hairball problem so I try to comb her as frequently as possible with a flea comb which solves two problems, hair and possible fleas. The medicine I have to use for her hairballs is yucky and she won't take it so I rub it on the top of both of her front paws, trust me she will immediately lick it off because cats can't stand to have anything on their paws. I am sure this will work for you. Good luck!

First of all, there is nothing you can give a cat to make it stop shedding. It just doesn't work that way. Every cat sheds. Heck, even people shed.

But, if you have something you need to give your cat that it doesn't want, you can get a dosing syringe (like they use to give kids medicine) and just put the liquid in the back of the cat's throat. That's how I give all my animals their medicine.

You can buy a sticky form of 'hairball remover' in a tube, you squeeze it on your cats front paw and they lick it off. Easier than trying to put it in their food

Put it on her foot, cats hate to be dirty, she'll lick it off. Either that or use an eye dropper and force it into her mouth.
