Get a spray bottle and when he tries or btes you or another person, spray him with some water. He'll learn not to bite people. Also if you haven't, have him fixed. There is a community spay/neuter program called Fix Our Ferels. Their number is 925-934-2991

are you doing anything that is irritating him? sometimes i try and tickle one of my male cats stomachs and he bites me, but i figure i asked for it. some cats just don't like to be bothered. after awhile you will get to know just what your cat will tolerate and what he wont, and stay away from doing the things that set him off. how young is he? maybe he is still teething? try getting him some toys or dry food to crunch on. don't flick his nose! i hate that. i think it would really hurt if a giant flicked my nose and it would make me want to bite him even more!!! as for spray bottles i don't really see the point cause you would need a spray bottle at every 3 foot intervals. if the cat bites you in the bedroom are you going to run to whichever room the spray bottle is in then come back and squirt him? that's dumb as the cat will not associate the squirt with the bite and get confused as to why you are trying to drown him. i have one female cat that sits on the counter while i'm getting ready to feed all the cats and she keeps swatting my hand and arm and giving me quick dart bites. i would get really made at her as they hurt and i would flick water on her immediately, but then i noticed she would bite and then pull back and squint and rapidly blink her eyes as she knew i would flick water on her from the sink. so eventhough she knows she's gonna get wet she still does it. i decided to see what she would do if i just gave her my hand when she swatted at it and all she did was rub her head in my hand. ahhhh! anyway that is not the case with my male and belly rubs he will bite and use his nails to hold me there so he can bite me good, so consequently he does not get many belly rubs!
ps-NO ball-peen hammers!

Uh no do not flick his nose as what the other person said thats mean. You might hurt him that way..lol just squirt some water on him. Or wave something in front of him to grab and bite. Lots of times they like to follow you movement and they try to bite especially if they are young! Good Luck.

Use Bitter Apple spray which tastes bad to pets. Spray a small amount in his mouth when he bites. You can buy Bitter Apple at a pet store such as Petco or PetSmart.

Flick his nose. Cats really don't like that and he'll learn quickly that your not going to just sit there and get bit.
