The cat has been missing for 3 days. The cat is 1 year old. People say that they have seen the cat by a park. When the owners get there, the cat is nowhere to be found. The owners put up posters but the cat doesn't show up. What should the owners do?

I have two doxies and two cats. I know that one of the dogs has peed on every bathroom rug in the house. Yes, they get washed afterwards.

I think one of the cats (male but fixed and new to the family) is doing it too. I think this because cat pee smells worse but I can't be sure.

I have caught none of them.

I have washed the floors with Nature's Miracle. I have treated the rugs, set them out in the sun (kills urine bacteria) then washed them in the machine.

Nothing seems to work.

I keep the bathroom doors closed, but they always manage to get in (we have kids).

Any ideas?

Even though I've used that flea medicine the vet gave me, you know the one in the tube that costs alot. A flea jumped on my arm while I was sitting on the couch last night. I now notice my cat is scratching and biting a little. Could there be bad tubes of flea medicine and besides vacuuming what else can I do to put in my carpet that would be safe. I will not use a flea bomb in my house and now I'm skiddish and keep thinking there are fleas jumping on me.

She's eight weeks and I don't give her cat nip. Sometimes she is gentle but other times she is jumping on furniture or running really fast for no reason. When she gets hyper she gets really aggressive and fiesty, she wants to eat my hand or something. I've tried spraying her with water but it doesn't work.

Are they trying to tell us something when they do?

2006-06-20 03:36:14 · 12 answers · asked by Sam L 2

tell me that I should come get it. They think it was taken away from mom to soon. They said it sits in a corner and hisses at them. They are afraid it is going to starve. Don't they just need to give it some time? The kitten will eat if they are hungry, right? Please help... I think they need this new addition to thier home.

My cat started going number 1 on the carpet. This is a change because it used to be only #2 and only once every 7-9 days. This is what we have already done:
1. Moved the cat litter.
2. Added a cat litter box.
3. Changed cat litter to every kind imaginable including this one kind that is "guarenteed to work."
4. We have had a covered litterbox.
5. We have had an open litterbox.
6. The litterbox has been in the open.
7. The litterbox has been in a privite area.
8. We went to the vet and got a clean bill of health.
9. She is affectionate to both of us (my husband and I)
10. She used to live in a dump with tons of other cats.
11. The house she lives in now is VERY clean.
12. It always happens when are NOT in the room.

What can we do!?

I have two cats but when one of them is lying on my bed getting strokes she purrs and slavas, does this mean she is just really comfortable?

Cats always land feet first and buttered toast always lands butter side down when dropped. So if you tie a piece of toast to a cats back which one hits the floor when dropped.

I asked my sister to watch my cat while I went overseas. But she said that she could not because her cat has an allergy to other cats. Her cat starts sneezing and coughing when he is around them. She says she went to a vet and he told her this. Is this possible? If he is allergic to cat dander and hair...wouldn't he be allergic to himself too? Or did she just not want to watch my cat.

I have a 2 year old persian male cat. Hehas been walking around the house and falling asleep in the hallway ever since wwe've got him, he always looks bored and lazy, he meows in the middle of the night every time, he always poops everywhere outside his litterbox even when its fresh( he uses it when people are around) I can't afford to buy catnip and scratchingposts, any tips for cheering him up?
How do I get rid of the stinky smell around the house and how do I stop him from 'shedding' everywhere?
Why does he wake me up in the middle of the night and takes over the bed please help!!!

Ok. This is going to sound terrible. But my friends got a kitten last week and he was eating fine until somehow he got stuck overnight in the fridge :( (yes i know they really shouldn't be pet owners, but they feel terrible about it) He was ok when they found him in the morning but since then he is extremely tired, sneezing all the time, and won't eat at all, he will hardly drink anything unless you force him and he just looks totally out of it. I'm scared he is going to get dehydrated soon or something. should they take him to the vet asap? is it possible for the cat to have caught a cold? Also, what is a good brand of cat food for kittens? and is wet or dry food better? I'm want to make sure they do the right thing and told them i would try to find out what i could about all this but either way i think the cat should go to the vet....any advice or tips?

Every cat I have ever owned or seen near a fax machine that is communicating will go insane and jump on it or run around it and meow continuously. Do the analog sounds or something attract them in some type of sound that they understand or can only hear, or barely understand, like a dog to a dog whistle? Maybe cats are really aliens thinking their mother ship has landed to get them!
