Cats do not like the smell of oranges, therefore put orange peels around your violets.

If your cat is eating violets, there is a simple solution... literally! Mix water in a spray bottle with a small amoung of dish soap. Sprtiz the leaves and petals of your flowers each day lightly. Not only will this deter your kitty from eating your flowers, it will also keep bugs away from it.

I had 4 african violets and my cats would eat them as well. I moved the plants to a higher setting, out of reach of the furballs.

if they are inside, make one room restricted to the cat and put the flowers there. if theyre ouside, instead of using harsh words ,yelling,or a spray bottle, use kind words and give them an alternative chew toy or something else to chew on.

First go to a vet. duh! Then make sure it eats healthy. The reason animals eat plants or grass is because they have an upset stomach.
or just keep the cat away from the flowers.
