Before you go, heat some water in a bottle and wrap it in a towel. Put it with the kitten. I've seen it calm them down immediately; they curl right up with it and go to sleep. Or, you could get it another kitten to play with. Good luck!

Wear a t-shirt all day, then take it off lay it on the bed and put the cat on it. He will smell you, and be a little bit satisfied. You can also try a box with the shirt in it, maybe an old wind up clock. It sounds like he is still a baby baby and needs something to lovey in the night. Good Luck.

Try leaving the TV on while you're out and giving the kitten a warm spot to sleep in (like a towel or blanket). If the TV is on, hopefully no one will hear him crying, and he won't be so lonely.

Have you tried putting a hot water bottle and a ticking clock in it's bed? Most of the time they are lonely for their litter mates and their mother. This has worked for me with a puppy when we first got it and I have heard that it will work for kittens too. Good luck with this.

Cats are very "social" and so its really hard to get your cat to stop but the only recomondation I have is to get your cat some fun toys that he really enjoys. I hope you get to keep your little kitten and I also hope he grows out ofthis "i want mommy stage"!

You could try to give the kitten a small stuffed animal.

Well they will usually stop on their own, but the best way is keep them in a bathroom with a warm blanket maybe that will help.

Put something with your scent on where it sleeps. Try a ticking clock too.
